Out of Print has been a champion for books and the role they play in shaping our lives and the world since launching in 2010. Books are transformative in their ability to share ideas, inspire action and connect diverse audiences in dialogue. To date, we’ve donated over 4 million books to communities in need and supported a variety of literacy initiatives around the world and we’re thrilled to continue that tradition with our "Get PoLITical" campaign and collection.

This campaign is about the importance of reading and research when participating in the democratic process. The designs signify our belief that the world is a better place when people read and share ideas openly and we want to inspire voters who share these values. We hope it will encourage people to educate themselves, discuss what is important, and make informed decisions at the polls.

Supporting literary and social causes has always been part of our mission here at Out of Print. For us and many of our customers, politics is an integral part of our lives. We believe that both reading and the democratic process have the power to change lives and that together, we can make this world a better place for us all. To help support this belief, we are the title sponsor for PEN America’s "Free Speech 2020" campaign. Our contribution to this non-partisan campaign will help programs and advocacy initiatives aimed at defending press freedom, fighting online harassment, combating disinformation, and upholding protest rights.
