The Uprise Books Project

"We stumbled on Out of Print's fundraising page purely by accident. We'd seen their fantastically bookish clothing and accessories at various book stores before, of course, but it never occurred to us that there might be an amazing group of people behind the Vonnegut t-shirts and Gatsby fleeces eager to help us raise money. It's sometimes a little intimidating for a small organization to reach out for help, but the people at Out of Print made it clear from the beginning that they wanted nothing more than to see us succeed. Every person we've spoken with there (or have been lucky enough to meet in person) has been helpful, capable, caring, and just plain friendly. Honestly, we actually felt a little guilty about how easy it was to fundraise with Out of Print. They helped us run two different campaigns in 2013, and we raised over $3000 simply by asking our supporters to do something they wanted to do anyway. 'I get to buy awesome clothing I already wanted AND they'll contribute some of the proceeds to an organization I love? Yes, please!'"
